“Out of the Darkness” Public Awareness Campaign

Early in 2005, the MMHA launched an extensive public awareness campaign to broadcast our message of hope, understanding and acceptance. Policy makers heard a plea to make informed, compassionate decisions regarding mental healthcare legislation.

The Public Service Announcements airs on 25 television and 60 radio stations statewide. Since the beginning of the “Out of the Darkness” Campaign, traffic to our website and toll free resource lines have DOUBLED, and continue to climb.

For 2005, we conducted this project in partnership with the Montana Addictive and Mental Disorders Division of the DPHHS. Ongoing fund raising & development efforts support these & future programs to raise comprehension that 1 in 4 has a mental illness and to fight the stigma of mental illness.

                    DONATE TO THIS WORTHY CAUSE!
