PROGRAM SUPPORT
This past year, we have been able to undertake important outreach and educational programs in our state by successfully in partnering with a number of other organizations. Our partners include: the Mental Health Local Advisory Councils and Service Area Authorities; the Montana Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence; the MSU-Billings Center on Disabilities; the Youth Suicide Prevention Taskforce; Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch; Intermountain Children’s Home; the Montana Children’s Initiative; and the National Institute for Mental Health. We will continue to collaborate with others, and plan to be a voice for good mental health policies and adequate care funding during the upcoming legislative session. However, to do this, we depend on your generous support.
By becoming a member, you enable us to reach out through our quarterly newsletter and mental health educational presentations across the state. You help us continue our television and radio campaign to reduce stigma. And you keep our referral line and resource library available free of charge to everyone in Montana. Please consider becoming a member – or renewing your membership if it is expiring or has expired – by the end of this year. All memberships are good through the end of 2008.
