No. However, members receive $30 off the conference fee! We encourage you to join MMHA, so you can receive the discount and stay up-to-date on research, policy, and programs related to mental health. The more members, the stronger our voice! |

What if I can’t afford to attend?
MMHA has 30-40 scholarships available; these pay for the conference and up to $150 towards lodging and travel expenses. If you would like to apply for a needs-based scholarship, please email us at info@montanamentalhealth.org or call us toll-free at 877-927-6642. |
What are the arrangements for hotel rooms?

Current and Future Issues Facing Children/Adolescent Behavioral Health Patrick Henry Connell, National Director of Government Relations, Girls and Boys Town In addition to his role as Girls and Boys Town’s National Director of Government Relations , Patrick Connell is also Boys Town National Research Hospital’s Administrator for Research, Behavioral Health Services . He has worked over 20 years in psychiatric hospitals and health systems. Pat is the board of directors for both the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare Board and the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems and has served as the Chair for the National Association of Behavioral Healthcare Management. He is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Behavioral Health Services & Research as well as a NIMH public reviewer of grant applications. He is currently serving as president of the Nebraska Association of Behavioral Health Organizations. |

Laugh for the Health of It! Elaine M. Lundberg, M.A., Humor Therapist Elaine grew up with 21 foster siblings, which accounts for her sense of humor. For the past fifteen years this internationally known speaker has been presenting positive humor and wellness workshops and for fun performs as a member of an improvisational comedy troupe. If They're Laughing, They're Not Killing Each Other, and No More Bummers! are the titles of her books. She believes both are a good philosophy for life, in general. Elaine M. Lundberg takes a humorous yet practical approach to wellness and stress management. She educates, motivates and helps anyone learn to effectively incorporate positive humor into their personal and professional lives. |

Transforming Mental Health Systems: A National Perspective David Miller, B.S., M.P. Aff., Senior Policy Associate, National Assoc. for State Mental Health Program Directors David Miller David serves as a liaison to state mental health commissioners/directors and their staffs, key federal agencies, members of Congress and their staffs, the National Governors Association , federal agencies, and the mental health advocacy community. Having spent almost 14 years in state government as a division director in the Texas Governor’s Office and an executive in the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation, he has firsthand knowledge of state and federal legislative and regulatory systems. |
